• Poster demonstrating Wikipedia editing in UG Neuroscience course at SFN

     

    Hi everyone, this poster isn't listed in the program so I thought I'd let everyone know I'll be there discussing how we incorporated Wikipedia Neuroscience stub editing in our UG Neuroscience course at Boston College last fall. The exercise was a great success, and a lot of fun for the students. Details of the session are below.

  • Location change for FUN Business Meeting at SfN

    The location listed for the Executive Committee and Business Meetings on the FUN website were reversed (and have since been corrected).  The correct locations for those meetings are:

    FUN Business Meeting: Monday November 15th 7:00AM, Columbia Rooms 1 and 2

  • FUN Teaching Workshop at SFN

    If you will be at the SfN annual meeting, please consider attending this year's teaching workshop. It is scheduled for Monday morning, November 15 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. in Convention Center room 4. The topic, "Undergraduate Curricula and Graduate Expectations," emerged from energetic discussions at recent meetings of the Committee on Neuroscience Departments and Programs. Officers and members of FUN are on the workshop's panel and help plan the session.
