Visiting Assistant Professor of Neuroscience
The Macalester College Psychology Department and Neuroscience Program invite applications for a one-year full-time visiting assistant professor position in Behavioral or Cognitive Neuroscience to begin in Fall 2020. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience, Psychology or a related field. The successful candidate will teach four courses across the academic year: two lab based and two non-lab based courses, based on curricular need and applicant's areas of expertise, and provide limited supervision of student research. Candidates with expertise in supervising student research and previous teaching experience will be given high priority. The visitor will have an opportunity to contribute to a curriculum informed by Macalester’s core values of multiculturalism, internationalism, and civic engagement. In addition, Macalester will provide resources to support the candidate’s scholarly activities.
