The Sanford School of Medicine of The University of South Dakota seeks highly motivated applicants for a Ph.D. student position in the laboratory of Dr. Gina Forster (http://people.usd.edu/~gforster/) to join the graduate program within the Division of Basic Biomedical Sciences (neuroscience specialization) in the fall of 2010. Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in neuroscience, biology, psychology or relevant field, and a strong interest in the neurobiology and behavioral pharmacology underlying anxiety states related to early life stress and/or substance abuse. Relevant research experience is desirable. The successful applicant will be provided with a competitive graduate student stipend, and will be housed in the modern research facilities within the new Lee Medical Building, Vermillion, SD.
