 Bucknell University Department of Psychology seeks a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in Sensation & Perception to begin August, 2011.  The successful candidate will teach three courses per semester potentially including Introductory Psychology, Sensation & Perception, and an advanced seminar in the candidate’s area of expertise. The ability to teach Statistics or Research Methods in Sensation & Perception (lab course) is desirable.  Applicants with Ph.D. completed by August, 2011 are preferred, although ABD applicants with outstanding potential for teaching will also be considered. Bucknell is a highly-selective, primarily undergraduate institution, combining a strong liberal arts tradition with characteristics of a comprehensive university.  To apply, please submit cover letter, C.V., statement of teaching philosophy and materials demonstrating evidence of success or promise at teaching, and 3 letters of reference throughhttp://www.bucknell.edu/jobs.  Review of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
