Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment (PSOE) Department of Neurobiology and Behavior University of California, Irvine

The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior invites applications for a Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment, a position that in the University of California emphasizes teaching but otherwise parallels the tenure-track faculty series, including membership in the Academic Senate. The successful candidate will contribute to the undergraduate teaching mission of the department, with duties potentially including neurobiology courses for non-majors, a laboratory course and course administration. Limited opportunities for research may be possible, for example involving undergraduate instruction and learning outcomes. We seek an outstanding candidate with a PhD in neurobiology or related field and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Applicants should submit a CV, three letters of reference and a statement of teaching interests, background and experience.
