The Position

The Account Representative is primarily responsible for selling solutions and products for observational and behavioral research to new and current users within Canada through direct contact in order to achieve maximum growth. Solutions can vary from advanced software to completely integrated data acquisition and video analysis systems. The successful candidate is independent, highly motivated and has excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: prospecting, negotiating and closure of sales, sales reporting, conducting product demonstrations and training sessions, monitoring new developments and possibilities in the market, assisting with marketing campaigns, attending conferences/meetings, acquiring technical knowledge of solutions, and cooperation with technical support staff. Frequent travel is required.

 

Required Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Sales experience in selling highly technical/complex products a plus
  • Utilizes strategic selling methodology with exceptional talent in closing and negotiation
  • Dynamic presentation capabilities and ability to clearly present technical information
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (English and French)
  • Ability to travel based on the needs of the business is a requirement, 50- 75%
  • 4 year college degree required
  • Master Degree in Psychology or Neuroscience preferred
  • Previous experience in a field of behavioral sciences is preferred.
  • A resident of Canada, or willing relocate to Canada
