Quest University Canada
Quest University Canada is looking for a sessional instructor to teach Neuroscience this winter/spring (either November 28 - December 21, 2011 or January 9 - February 1, 2012). At Quest we teach in 3.5 week blocks, with 3 contact hours per day (the equivalent of a semester-long course), plus office hours. Classes are capped at 20 students, and students take only one course at a time. We use a variety of active learning methods in the classroom (as opposed to 3 hours of straight lecture). The objective of this course is to teach the relationship between the brain and behavior. The content of the course is somewhat open to the instructor's expertise, though it should be under the umbrella of brain and behavior relationships. The textbook, activities, etc. are all open. If you know anyone that might be interested, please ask them to e-mail Dr. Negar Elmieh, Coordinator of Life Sciences at Quest (negar.elmieh@questu.ca).
