The Ohio Wesleyan University Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship starting Fall 2012. Ph.D. required. We seek an experimentalist having demonstrated excellence in teaching who can offer advanced physics laboratory and electronics courses, and who can also enhance the Neuroscience Program. The Neuroscience Program has been targeted for growth by the addition of three faculty positions across multiple departments, of which this position is the first. The candidate will be expected to develop one or more upper-level neuroscience courses in his/her area of specialty and to develop a research program that involves undergraduates in both physics and neuroscience. Ohio Wesleyan University is a selective, private, undergraduate liberal arts, residential institution founded in 1842 and is located just 20 miles north of Columbus.
