Tenure Track Faculty Positions
As part of a University initiative to expand research activities and supported by an NIH Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) grant, the Department of Biological Sciences offers appointments in tenure track faculty positions at the assistant professor level. We seek outstanding scientists whose research interests complement existing strengths in the Department and across the University, and who are committed to quality teaching. The applicant must have a PhD and post-doctoral experience is expected.
Although the exact research focus of the candidate is open, the Department is seeking a candidate with expertise in molecular neuroscience to continue to strengthen our neuroscience program. Successful candidates will be expected to develop an externally funded research program and to teach advanced courses related to their expertise as well as introductory courses.
