Reviewers Needed for Undergraduate Neuroscience e-Laboratories

Science Approach, a small e-learning development organization based in Tucson, Arizona, is looking for undergraduate neuroscience faculty to review online laboratories developed with Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) funding from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). Each e-laboratory features analysis of neuroimaging data provided by collaborating scientists funded by the NIMH. The purpose of this review is to facilitate final edits to the labs before they are released in early 2012.

The e-laboratories will be offered beginning in 2012 at low cost via Science Approach's Web site. Participating faculty will be provided with a coupon code that allows them to "purchase" a laboratory subscription at no cost. After reviewing a laboratory, the faculty member is asked to complete a survey. Faculty who complete the survey will be provided with coupon codes for 100 students to use the lab free of charge during the 2012 spring and summer terms.

A list of e-laboratories that will be available for review is provided at http://www.science-approach.com/content/blogsection/22/228/.

To request coupon codes for reviewing the laboratories, visit http://www.science-approach.com/component/option,com_smartformer/formid,3/.

Note: The "New Neurons for You After All" e-lab is currently available for review. The remaining labs will be available in early 2012.

Please use the form available on the Science Approach website to contact Steven Moore, project PI, if you have questions about this request. Thanks much. Steven Moore, Ph.D., Science Approach
