Bucknell University, Department of Psychology invites applications for an entry-level one-year visiting assistant professor position (qualified applicants for entry level positions will have no more than four years of post-doctoral full-time teaching at the time of appointment) in any area of Psychology beginning in August 2012. The successful candidate will teach our General Psychology course (individual or team-taught options), Statistics, and an Advanced Seminar in his/her area of expertise. Preference will be given to candidates who will have earned a Ph.D. in psychology by the time of the appointment. Bucknell is a highly selective, primarily undergraduate (3500 undergraduates and 250 masters students) institution, combining a strong liberal arts tradition with characteristics of a comprehensive university.
