The Department of Psychology at St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, announces a full-time tenure-track position in cognitive neuroscience/cognitive psychology at the assistant professor level, beginning September 1, 2013. Primary teaching responsibilities will contribute to the curriculum in both psychology and neuroscience and include courses in cognition, sensation & perception, and an advanced course in a self-selected area of specialization. Additional teaching responsibilities may include introductory psychology or research methods. A completed Ph.D. in psychology or related discipline by the time of appointment is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education, and have experience with, or potential for, conducting an active program of research at St. Olaf with undergraduates using human subjects.
