The Department of Psychology at SUNY Geneseo invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position for a biological psychologist beginning Fall 2010. Applicants must show evidence of preparation to teach courses in the biological bases of behavior or cognition, statistics, and behavioral research methods. Opportunities exist to develop courses in applicants' area of specialization. Superior teaching skills and ability to involve undergraduates in research are required. Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests complement our current departmental strengths and who can incorporate a service learning component into courses. Ph.D. in psychology or neuroscience is required at time of appointment.
