    A post-doctoral position (0-2 yrs experience) is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Brian Burrell (http://sites.usd.edu/brian-burrell/) in the Division of Basic Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Dakota. The project focus is on modulation of synaptic transmission by endocannabinoids related to nociception. A PhD with experience in electrophysiology is required as well as a willingness to work with invertebrate model systems (research in the Burrell lab uses Hirudo verbana). Experience with molecular biology techniques is also desirable.
