Toxicologist/Pharmacologist:

The Department of Biological Sciences at San José State University is currently accepting applications for a tenure-track position in the area of toxicologist. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience in the physiological sciences. Expertise in toxicology/ pharmacology with application of such expertise to systems physiology is strongly preferred. Applicants must have research experience and have published in their area of expertise. Cell Biologist/Cell Physiologist:

The Department of Biological Sciences at San José State University is currently accepting applications for a tenure-track position in the area of cell biologist/cell physiologist. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience in cell biology, cell physiology, or related discipline. Candidates should have a proven record of excellence in teaching and research or evidence of promise for excellence in teaching and research. Expertise in one of the following areas of cell biology/physiology strongly preferred: stem cell biology, immunology, virology, mechanisms of signal transduction, or expertise in the techniques of cell, tissue, or organ culture with application of such techniques to organ systems physiology.
