WILLIAMS COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Behavioral Neuroscience, beginning July 1, 2016. We provide mentoring in teaching and support for research for visiting faculty. We are particularly interested in attracting and welcoming candidates from under-represented groups, and hiring candidates who can work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. The teaching load is 4 courses per year, typically consisting of the neuroscience section of a team-taught Introductory Psychology course, a team-taught Introduction to Neuroscience course, and an upper-level research seminar in the candidate’s area of specialty with a laboratory component.
