Visiting Assistant Professor
Bowdoin College Program in Neuroscience and the Department of Psychology invite applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin July 1, 2016 in the area of behavioral or cognitive neuroscience. A Ph.D. is required, post-doctoral research and teaching experience are preferred. Teaching responsibilities consist of four courses, including a topics level Behavioral or Cognitive Neuroscience course, Data Analysis, and two courses in the candidate’s area of specialization: a laboratory course and an advanced seminar. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education, an active engagement in research, and a readiness to involve undergraduates in their research.
