Adjunct for Introduction to Neuroscience
The Neuroscience Program at the College of Wooster invites applications for a temporary position to teach one section of Introduction to Neuroscience in the spring of 2017. The applicant should have an M.S., Ph.D., or be working toward a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field. The applicant should be committed to teaching undergraduates. The course serves as a core for Neuroscience majors, elective for other life science majors, and covers functional neuroanatomy, neuronal physiology and their application to the sensory systems. Applicants must submit the following to Amy Jo Stavnezer [email protected]: 1) a curriculum vita, 2) a letter of intent, 3) a 1-2 page statement of teaching philosophy, 4) evaluation of teaching abilities if available, and 5) contact information for three recommenders by October 7, 2016.
