Free S-STEM Capacity Building Proposal Writing Workshop at Rice University
Rice University is planning a two-day workshop titled “Capacity Building for Competitive S-STEM Proposals” with the goal of helping prospective Principal Investigators (PIs) from predominantly undergraduate institutions (PUIs) develop more competitive proposals to the National Science Foundation Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (NSF S-STEM) program.
Because S-STEM projects now require a team member who is a researcher (educational, discipline-based educational, social/behavioral, or institutional), one of the resources to be provided for those who need it is a list of researchers who are interested in partnering with a PI to attend the workshop on February 20-21, 2017 in Houston, Texas and on an S-STEM proposal submission. All expenses will be paid for teams of researchers and PIs who participate in the workshop.
