The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Teaching, a position that in the University of California emphasizes teaching but otherwise parallels the tenure-track faculty series, including membership in the Academic Senate. The successful candidate will contribute to the undergraduate teaching mission of the department, with duties potentially including neurobiology courses for non-majors, a laboratory course and course administration. This series requires, in addition to excellent teaching and service, the candidate makes outstanding and recognized contributions to the development of his or her specific discipline and/or of pedagogy. We seek an outstanding candidate with a PhD in neurobiology or related field and demonstrated excellence in teaching.
