Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology—Two Positions

The Department of Psychology at The University of the South invites applications for two visiting assistant professor positions. Area of concentration is open.  The positions begin August 2018.

Teaching duties & responsibilities. Teaching load is 6 courses per year.  Candidates should show capacity to teach survey courses and an advanced seminar in their discipline and contribute to service via introductory psychology and/or through the research methods course and data analysis laboratory.  Courses in social, personality, cognitive and health psychology would be of particular interest.

Education. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Psychology; ABDs will also be considered.

Experience. Candidates should show a commitment to excellence in teaching and commitment to scholarly research and publication.
