Assistant Professor in Neuroscience (Tenure Track)
Baylor University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the Assistant Professor level effective fall 2020. We are searching for an energetic and collaborative faculty member with research experience in clinical, behavioral, cellular or molecular neuroscience using humans, rodents, or alternative animal models. The specific area of investigation is open, but the successful applicant should have demonstrable expertise in neuropharmacology.
Successful candidates should possess an earned doctorate and at least two years of post-doctoral study, have a sustained record of research, and evidence of the potential to generate extramural funding commensurate with their career stage. Applicants should have the ability and interest to teach undergraduate and graduate students as well as provide research mentorship and develop and maintain an externally-funded program of research.
