The Department of Psychology at Lycoming College invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Cognitive Neuroscience to begin July 2020. Lycoming College offers both Psychology (BA, BS) and Neuroscience Majors and Minors. Faculty members teach three courses a semester, with typical class sizes of 20 to 30 students. The successful applicant will be able to teach Introductory Psychology, Research Methods, and an upper-level laboratory class in Cognitive Psychology/Neuroscience. Additional Cognitive Neuroscience courses can be taught based on applicant preference. The successful applicant will have clear evidence of high quality teaching skills, a commitment to liberal arts education, and the ability to establish a research program and supervise undergraduate research. A Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience is strongly preferred, but ABD’s in their final stages of completion will also be considered.
