Finally, the submissions are still open for the FUN poster session at SFN 2017.  You must be a member in good standing to sponsor a poster.  Details are here.

FUN Poster Session Submission is now Open

Any FUN member (regular or pre-faculty status) in good standing (that means dues are paid) can sponsor one submission for the FUN Social and Poster Session.  In addition, Institutional members can sponsor one submission, but it is up to the home institution to determine which project.  We have a total of 175 board faces, with 20 reserved for Travel Award winners, which leaves 155 to be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Brain Awareness Travel Award Applications now being accepted

Hello all,

Application are now being accepted for the Brain Awareness Travel Awards.

Brain Awareness Travel Award Applications now being accepted

We are now accepting applications for The 2017 Brain Awareness Travel Award.

The Brain Awareness Travel Award honors an outstanding undergraduate student active in neuroscience education and outreach who is nominated by a member of the Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience (FUN). The award includes complimentary registration to the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) annual meeting and a $750 stipend to offset travel expenses. This award is sponsored by the SfN.

Last call for the FUN Conference registration, 7/28-7/30

Just an FYI that there are now only 20 spots available for the 2017 FUN Workshop.  Unfortunately, on-campus housing has now filled.  Fortunately, there is still space in a discounted block of nearby hotel rooms plus lots of good B&B options (see the accommodations page on the conference website for details)

Register here:  http://conference.funfaculty.org/

Cheers,

Bob
