vFUN 2020 -- Teaching Neuroscience at the End of the World: Flexible Delivery and Anti-Racist Action
This summer is full of uncertainty about the fall. How can we deliver our classes in ways that both safe and adaptable? And how can we answer the call to do more towards promoting a more just and humane world? There are no easy or definitive answers to these questions, but we can make better progress when we work together on them, as a community. To that end, the Facutly for Undergraduate Neuroscience is pleased to announce a 2.5-day virtual conference and workshop that will convene the FUN membership to listen, think, and work together (Afternoon of July 30 through mid-day August 1). The conference will focus on 1) course-redesign for online/hybrid/flexible delivery and 2) anti-racist action we can take for our organization, teaching, and university environment. The program is still being developed, but will feature a mixture of working groups and presentatios.
The FUN 2020 virtual conference is free
to all members in good standing. If you are not a member in good standing, your registration fee ($40) will be applied towards a 1-year membership.
