The 2023 FUN Workshop, titled Re-imagining Neuroscience Education, will be held at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Plan to arrive on July 26, with programming July 27 to July 30, 2023. Check back for more details as they become available.
Meeting Description: The theme of the 2023 FUN Workshop “Re-imagining Neuroscience Education” will empower educators to pursue inclusive excellence in neuroscience through high-impact pedagogical practices. Workshop topics will include a broad array of ideas, approaches and techniques: inclusive pedagogy and active learning approaches for the neuroscience teaching lab, research lab, and classroom; student and faculty mindsets, identities, and wellness; integrative STEM education; and decolonization of neuroscience education. Faculty will also have the opportunity to participate in teaching demonstrations, mini symposia, and a poster session.

A pre-workshop satellite event will be held at the Allen Institute in Seattle on July 26 for a limited number of participants. You will be invited to register for the satellite during the registration process. There is no cost to participate in this satellite event.
