Visiting Asst. Prof. of Psychology (Behavioral Neuro)
Williams College Department of Psychology seeks candidates for a one-year visiting position in Behavioral Neuroscience beginning July 1, 2022, with the possibility of extending for an additional year. Teaching responsibilities will consist of 4 credits per year and may include the neuroscience section of a team-taught Introductory Psychology course, a co-taught Introduction to Neuroscience course, upper-level seminars in the candidate’s area of interest, and/or a senior seminar course. We provide visiting faculty with mentoring in teaching. In addition, visiting faculty are eligible to apply for funds to maintain an active research program with students as well as research space in our excellent research facilities. We seek skilled teachers and productive scholars who will be able to provide meaningful research experiences for students. We are especially interested in candidates from underrepresented groups and candidates who have experience working with diverse undergraduate student populations.
