The Laboratory Supervisor in the Psychological and Brain Sciences department at Fairfield University plays a crucial role in supporting the scientific research in the Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience programs.  Primary responsibilities include maintaining the well-being of laboratory animals and ensuring the conditions vital to the well-being of animals are continuously met in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act as implemented through the U.S. Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals. Other responsibilities include training and coordinating work study students in animal and human subjects research, assisting researchers in aspects of experimental procedures, preparing research laboratory spaces for laboratory classroom studies,  and maintaining equipment and computer software in animal and human subjects research labs in the Department.
