Assistant Professor of Instruction in Neurobiology
The Department of Neurobiology is a collegial and interactive community that is committed to high-quality scientific research and education. We run a thriving undergraduate program (>100 graduates per year) within Northwestern University’s Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. This position will involve teaching (or a combination of teaching and undergraduate advising) equivalent to six quarter-long courses per academic year (i.e. two courses per quarter on average). In addition, NU’s vibrant academic community offers ample opportunities for further intellectual engagement and career development.

| Requirements |
Minimal qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field, which must be conferred by September 1, 2025, and a primary career interest in undergraduate education. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence, breadth, and innovation in teaching.
