Position Information

Seeking graduate student (MS or PhD) interested in the neural basis of behavior. The Blitz lab investigates how rhythmic neural activity is generated and how modulatory states alter the underlying cellular and synaptic mechanisms. Highly supportive environment to learn electrophysiology techniques, including recording from nerves, neurons, and muscles, and using hybrid biological-computational networks, learn confocal microscopy techniques, present at regional and national meetings, and gain mentoring/teaching experience if desired. Stipend available for duration of MS or PhD program.
